Claire Worman

BSc. Osteopathy BSc. Sports Science. Cert Ed

Claire has been involved in the health and fitness industry since 1991. She is a registered Osteopath, graduating from Oxford Brooks University, and also has a diploma in Animal Osteopathy. Claire has been teaching Pilates for over 20 years, and has been involved in writing Level 2 and 3 qualifications, as well as running instructional courses and delivering qualifications in Pilates Matwork, Studio Equipment and more recently the Level 4 Certificate in Exercise and Management of Low Back Pain. In the past, Claire was also a college lecturer and verifier for the NVQ/OCR awards and VTCT qualifications.

Claire and Belinda jointly run Pilates Training Solutions Ltd. Between them they not only run the instructor training but their own clinics and classes. Both known for their enthusiasm and passion on their courses, they run  informal yet informative face to face courses, supporting their students throughout the entire process from application to completion.

Belinda Buttery

P.G. Dip Exercise Science, HND Science and Management with Distinction, NLP Master Pract, Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, Cert Ed

Belinda Buttery has been involved in the world of Exercise Science since 1991. She has lectured in Anatomy, Physiology, Sports Injuries/ Therapy and the teaching of teachers on a variety of degree, BTEC and NVQ courses. In 1998 she made her transition into the world of Pilates, having both written (for awarding bodies) and delivered Qualifications in Pilates Matwork, Studio Equipment and more recently the Level 4 Certificate in Exercise and Management of Low Back Pain. Having studied her MSc. in Exercise Science, NLP Master Practitioner, Life Coaching and Hypnotherapy, she brings extensive knowledge of both the physiological and psychological aspects teaching Pilates as a discipline in both the fitness and clinical arenas.

Belinda works from her studio in Farnham offering one to one sessions to a variety of clients in need of rehabilitation or just looking to work on the Pilates equipment.

She also runs the classes in Tongham and at two local health clubs.

Claire and Belinda jointly run Pilates Training Solutions Ltd having worked together since 1994.

Helen

Helen Carpenter-Waters

Helen has a background in Gymnastics and professional Dance for which She has many TV, film, video and theatre credits. Helen has represented
Great Britain in Sports Aerobics and was 4 times undefeated UK Mixed Pairs Champion with several international medals including Bronze at the World Games.

Her holistic approach has been facilitated by a long career (30+ years) during which time she has been involved in many developments in the fitness industry. Helen delivered the keynote speech for the inaugural research convention for researchers in the NHS. She has written and delivered many courses and manuals in addition to writing articles and guest editorship for professional publications. For 13 years Helen was course director and lecturer at Farnborough College of Technology (where she met Belinda and Claire).

Helen has extensive qualifications and training in the field of exercise and education, in addition to being a Master Practitioner in NLP, Ericksonian Hypnotherapist and Advanced Life coach. Helen is the founder and director of DYBO Health and Fitness and *DYBO Academy (www.dybo.co.uk) where she is very much ‘hands on’, teaching all types of group exercise in addition to her one to one work which includes Personal Training, Sports Conditioning, Injury Rehabilitation and Back Care, NLP, Hypnosis and Life coaching. Helen’s clients range from 80 year olds to teenagers, club to world-class athletes, celebrities, housewives, businessmen and ante/post natal ladies. She has trained thousands of pregnant ladies and new mums over the years, helping them to keep fit and healthy during pregnancy, prepare for labour and return to pre-natal fitness levels.

Helen believes Pilates is an essential tool in her repertoire of exercise methods particularly when working in the areas of rehabilitation, seniors and ante/post natal exercise.

Her reputation as an industry leader has resulted in invitations to present and educate at conventions and events across that UK and worldwide – convention organisers have described her as “an industry icon” and Fit Pro members recognized her outstanding work within the fitness industry across the UK when she was voted “UK Fitness Leader of the Year”.

Zoe Charles 

BSc Hons in Science & Management of Exercise and Health, Professional Graduate Certificate in Further and Higher Education, Active IQ assessor awards, Pilates Matwork Diploma Level 3, Pilates & Small Equipment

After graduating from the University of Surrey with a 1st Class Honours Degree in ‘Science and Management of Exercise and Health’, Zoe Charles started her career as a fitness instructor at Champneys,

Zoe’s professional outlook on health and well- being led her to train in a variety of disciplines including Pilates and Zumba. Zoe has specialised in both mat and equipment Pilates, and continues to work regularly with many clients as a personal trainer on a one to one basis.

Her passion for teaching, and the desire to share this enthusiasm with others has led Zoe to become a qualified teacher and assessor. As a result, she has trained numerous teachers in Exercise to Music, Pilates and Gym.

She joined the team not only as a class teacher but also a teacher/assessor on the Pilates Level 3 course with Belinda and Claire.

Zoe Charles

Christine Jason

Christine is a level 3 YMCA Pilates Matwork Diploma Instructor based in Farnham.

Following a career in the NHS as a Theatre Nurse, her love of Pilates led her to re- train in 2012 as a Pilates Instructor, turning her hobby into a new career. Christine has been teaching on the team for many years with Belinda and Claire.

Christine is passionate about Pilates, having practiced for many years prior to qualifying as an instructor. Her classes have a relaxed atmosphere and welcome all abilities and ages.

Her teaching focuses on core stability, maintaining and improving flexibility and mobility, and most importantly of all, fun!

Anne Marie Stapleton

Anne-Marie discovered both Pilates and Yoga in 2014 after the birth of her 2nd child. These helped her to correct many of the physical ailments that having young children bring and has been hooked ever since.

After qualifying to instruct Pilates in 2019 following the training offered by Pilates Training Solutions, she joined their team as a regular instructor in September 2019 and additionally incorporates Pilates into her sessions with her 1-2-1 personal training clients.

She teaches her Pilates classes in a friendly, inclusive and effective way. She aims to ensure that each client can work at their own level, has their needs met and can fully enjoy the benefits that Pilates can give them. Her classes follow a classical style of Pilates, with a strong focus on core activation during the session. In adition she has numerous fitness based qualifications.

Outside of fitness, Anne-Marie is a proud mother of two children, has a doctorate in Physics from Cambridge University and works as a part-time Clinical Scientist specialising in Nuclear Medicine Physics at the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford.”
